DOUG HEDERMAN

Doug Hederman, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Hederman Brothers Printing and Direct Mail, the largest sheetfed commercial printing company in Mississippi. He has been with Hederman Brothers since 1999 and is the fourth generation owner of their family business. After graduating from the University in Mississippi in 1993 with a degree in Business Administration, he worked for Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods, the largest full service marketing communications firm in Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana. He served as Vice President and Director of Public Policy, and therefore it is not surprising that at the symposium he spoke on the topic "From Crisis to Opportunity: The Mississippi Economic Recovery".  He received the firm’s Most Valuable Player award twice and was recognized by Arkansas Business as one of the ten “Twenty Something’s,” a group of emerging statewide leaders in their twenties. He has also been recognized by the Mississippi Business Journal as a “Top Forty under Forty.”  He received the 2013 Silver Medal Award from the American Advertising Federation and the 2016 Visionary Leadership Award from Madison County Business League and Foundation.

 

Hederman currently serves on the boards of Mississippi Baptist Hospital Foundation, Powers and Lake Foundation, Jackson Heart Foundation, Young Life of Mississippi, Madison County Business League and Foundation and Lantern Medical Clinic.

 

He formerly served on the boards for University of Mississippi Foundation, University of Mississippi Alumni Association, Belhaven University, Jackson Preparatory School, Annandale Golf Club, Printing Industry Association of the South, Greater Jackson Partnership and Mississippi Baptist Hospital.

 

He and his wife, Blair, are the parents of two children: Holt, 21, and Sara, 18. They are members of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.
